New towns inland, old houses on the island
Nassau County's growth has concentrated around Yulee, where the Wildlight master-planned community off I-95 is planned for about 24,000 homes, and about 70 percent of residents travel out of the county to work. On Amelia Island the picture flips: downtown Fernandina Beach has a historic district of more than 50 blocks with about 450 homes built before 1927. The same county asks for brand-new installs on one side of the river and careful retrofits on the other.
On the ground
Three kinds of work in one county
Around Yulee the calls are mostly newer homes: maintenance, early repairs on new equipment coordinated with the manufacturer, and thermostat and humidity questions in tight houses. Inland toward Hilliard and Callahan, larger lots bring more heat pumps, package units and manufactured homes.
On the island, salt air works on outdoor coils just as it does at the Jacksonville beaches, and the Victorian houses downtown often need ductless heads or small-duct work that respects the historic district.

FAQ
Nassau County questions
Is your Hilliard office close to me?
If you're in western Nassau County, very likely. The Hilliard head office covers the north end of the metro and the county, and calls are booked from whichever office can reach you sooner.
Do you service homes on Amelia Island?
Yes, including Fernandina Beach's historic district, with coil care for the salt air and ductless options for older houses.
Do you work on package units and manufactured homes?
Yes. Both are common inland, and we repair and replace them with the right connections for how they're built.
